talks and posters!

Just updated my resume page to include talks (at least the ones that were recorded) and posters that I’ve presented. I’m glad these things have somewhere to live now. It’s always bittersweet presenting these things. You work your butt off perfecting slides, writing and rehearsing scripts, and designing posters. And then you present and it’s like the work evaporates. The relief of moving past the presentation is immense, but some leftover pride stays and stews within you while your creations are forgotten. I imagine this is a dilemma creators have always faced. The internet has helped immortalize so many works, but still so many more remain buried or deleted. At least now, for me, this site can be a safe, a coffin, a memory.
